  1. It is fun to read, each chapter has a cliff hanger and each chapter has a specific meaning about it. Fizzlebert is funny, honest, kind and helpful. My favourite character is Fizz’s fake grandad because he permanently has his head in the clouds.( Just like me!) I would like to live in a circus because you could make people be worried, scared and laugh hysterically!.

    1. Fizzlebert is quite different to other children that he meets because he lives in a circus and you wouldn’t really see an ordanary child living in a circus.I like Fizzleberts personalty because he is kind and helpful . What i like about the book is that you just want to keep on reading . My favourite characters are clown, seel and Fizzlebert. I wouldn’t like to live in the circus because by performing everyday you won’t get time to play with friends. This is probably the most funniest story I’ve ever heard!this book you just wont to keep reading and every time we read it its left at a cliff hanger I would defiantly read it again and just because we are in the middle of it the book I probably think there is quite a lot of laughter ahead. This book is AMAIZING I would rate this book five stars. This was such a good book

  2. So far it’s quite funny. I like Fizzlebert- he believes anything.
I would join the circus just for one show- I would do the trapeze!

  7. I think this book is amazing. My favourite characters are Fizzlebert the clown and the seal I would like performing but not living in a circus for ever if I did it would be hell .I like how this book in each chapter is left at a cliff hanger and makes you wont to read and read I would definitely recommend this book I would rate it five stars.

  8. This is an amazing book to read, its so interesting and funny, I can almost imagine my self in the story when reading and hearing the chapters, my favourite character is Fizz, Fizz’s mum and the (pretend) grandma.
my teacher Mrs Byrne is a fab story teller/reader and has the whole class left in stiches.
I’m not sure if I would like to live in a circus or not, I wouldn’t because I would be lonely as my mum would always be silly and busy practising her circus acts and my dad would also be working out. But I also would because I would be able to do anything I want and be able to make peeps laugh.
BUT DEFINITELY READ IT, I RECOMEND IT TO YOU .

  9. I loved reading Fizzlebert Stump – I enjoyed all the chapter summaries at the beginning! I really liked all of the characters. I like the Granddad figure too Harry!

  10. i think the book is good a quite funny my favourite charter is Fizz even tho he believes loads of stuff that isn’t true

  11. I do like the book but I would not like to be in a circus because. I would be the 2nd kid in the circus but the book is great can’t wait to read the next chapter.

  12. I love Fizzlebert because it is funny and Fizz is my favourite character because he gets up to all sorts of funny stuff. Life in a circus would be a mixture. It would be hard work to learn the circus skills and tricks but amazing to perform each show. The book scores 5/5 I RECOMMEND IT!.

  13. I like the Fizzlebert Stump book because it is funny and it sounds like the author is talking to me. My favourite characters are Mr and Mrs Stinkthrottle because their house is interesting. I wouldn’t like to live in a circus because I wouldn’t have any friends and I wouldn’t be able to go to school. My favourite part so far is when Fizzlebert and his friend Kevin escaped the Stinkthrottle’s house. I RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE!

  14. I loved reading Fizzlebert Stump. When my teacher started reading this book to us in class I told my mum she must buy this for me for us to read together as a family. I found this book very interesting and funny to read. My favourite character in this book is Charles the lion. He always made me laugh. The funniest thing that Charles did was pick Mrs Stiinkthrottle up and chew her head. I would not like to live in a circus because it would be very hard for me do this on a daily basis. I would be very lonely in a circus as all the performers are adults. I would definately not like to put my head inside a lions head!!! It has to be the funniest book I have read. I think A.F Harrold has worked very hard writing this book and making people laugh. I would love it if they could make a movie out of this book. As I would definately go and watch this. The book itself is very well written and presented.

  15. Fizzlebert stump is one amazing book. My favourite character is Fizzlebert because he does a lot of great things and helps Kevin escape from the stinkthrotles house. Every chapter something new happens to Fizzlebert. It is an extraordinary book to read. Now I have read the book I don’t want to live in a circus.

  16. I enjoyed reading Fizzlebert Stump (the boy who ran away from the circus and joined the library) because it was full of very funny things. I also liked how Mrs Stinkthrottle captured Fizz and Kevin. It was hilarious when Fizz had to find the remote but when he thought he had found it in the sofa cracks he pulled it out and it seemed to be a chocolate bar!
I also liked Kevin, he was my favourite character. I liked his name because Kevin is the name of a minion!
Kevin was very gullible especially when Mrs Stinkthrottle told him that if he tried to run away he would be arrested by the police and Kevin actually believed her!
I would recommend this book to my friend Cole because he really likes funny things and he also loves the circus. He is 4 years old!
