We were fortunate to receive a visit today from the NSPCC. There were two assemblies for KS1 and KS2 then the following classes received a workshop: Niagara Falls, Grand Canyon, Golden Gate.
Thank you very much to the NSPCC for the informative sessions. The children have learnt so much and behaved superbly.
On our first day at the woods this year, with The Communitree Initiative, we baked apple crumble, played in the mud pit, climbed trees, played games, relaxed in the hammocks and created Halloween themed artwork. What a fun-filled day!

Our Cook, Mr Graham was absolutely 'blown away' by the originality and expertise of all classes in school. Cakes have been sampled and judged today and the overall winner will be announced in tomorrow's assembly.

After learning about the Egyptian Pyramids, children were given the task of creating an animated report using an iPad and our newly purchased 'phones'. In a class of 30 children, with half of them audio recording at the same time, these are an excellent tool to minimise background noise.
