The players and management were left dumbfounded at the full time whistle after going in at half time at 0-0 and looking like we could go on and win it. 

In the second half, Greenhill scored 2 minutes after the break and the Holcombe Brook heads dropped. An own goal followed soon after and we just didn’t seem to get any luck or moment whatsoever. The large, muddy pitch didn’t suit our passing game and Greenhill scored a goal late on to seal a place in the semi-final. 

The team gave their all but with a couple of illnesses and injuries we were instantly up against it. Well done to all the players for their efforts over the season; thank you to Mr. Crawshaw and Mrs. Lynchey also. Let’s see what the 5-a-side competition holds in June!
