imageYou can see above that all players have been awarded with ‘star player’. This is because they were an absolute pleasure to watch today – brilliant team work and wonderful determination was shown throughout. 

Many baskets were scored and 4 wins out 4 meant we were awarded with a place in the final. 

This was against Chantlers, we were leading  2-0 after a super basket but Chantlers equalised with a basket of their own with 30 seconds to play. 

The game went to extra time and golden basket. We had chance after chance but just couldn’t find a breakthrough. One piece of magic from a talented Chantlers player led to a clear chance which was taken with ease. 

Silver medals were awarded to our 10 players, some of whom had never played the game before. 

Well done to all and thank you to Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. McLeod for their efforts.
