Beginning tasks straight away

We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Every fortnight, not only do the children change seats, we also reveal the outstanding learner skills and behaviour we will be focusing on. I am always watching the two secret students very closely to see if they pass their mission!

img_2048Most recently, Summer received the prize and with it, a whole class mega dojo for beginning tasks straight away! Unfortunately, the second secret student didn’t pass their mission, which was ‘completing tasks set’, but…we will never know who that was!

Well done Summer! Hopefully we have two successfully completed missions in the near future!
