Our Head Boy, Henry Whittaker and Head Girl, Rosa Murphy received an invitation from Councillor Dorothy Gunther to attend her ‘Mayor Making’ ceremony at the Town Hall. They witnessed the proposal vote and the second and the vote of thanks to the outgoing Mayor, Councillor Mike Connolly and his Consort, for all their hard work.

Henry and Rosa posed for pictures with both Mayors and enjoyed second helpings from the the buffet after the ceremony!

We hope, as a Governor at Holcombe Brook, that Councillor Gunther will visit school in her Mayoral chains in the near future and extend the warmest congratulations to her at this special time.
