We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Last week was anti-bullying week and we used the wonderful music video by Greg Holden, titled ‘Hold On Tight’.

The children were given 7 images of characters that they had to describe and give reasons why they would or wouldn’t trust them. Then they cut out strips of the story to try and order them.

We watched the video then re-ordered the strips and discussed not judging a book by its cover and helping others/treating people how you would like to be treated.
