Local police officers were invited to year 6 to help bring a crime scene to life and give the children a chance to see what it would be like to try to solve a murder mystery using fingerprints and other equipment.
It has brought their latest genre of writing to life and we are looking forward to seeing their non-chronological reports about fingerprints.
