We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. After the staff ‘Appy Mondays’ session and seeing Plickers used by Mr. Parkinson (@ICT_MrP), we decided to use Plickers in class. 

The children loved receiving their cards and soon learnt how to use them. We answered several multiple choice questions as a maths starter and look forward to using it in many other ways in the future!image
