We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Year 6 were learning about musical notation using a stave. They used the phrase ‘FACE in the space’ and the acronym ‘Every Good Boy Deserves Football’ to compose Jingle Bells starting on the note B. 

Here is our final performance using the glockenspiels!
