The boys have had such a tremendous football season and have done so well to make it through to the semi final stages, however, they came up against a very talented Bury Grammar side that unfortunately scored with every chance they created.
For the first 10 minutes, it was a close affair and remained 0-0. Tackles from both teams were flying in and you could tell that all the lads were giving their all.
5 minutes later and Bury Grammar were 2-0 up, their second a sublime finish from the dangerous number 9.
After Bury Grammar scored their third from a corner on the 15 minute mark, Oliver had to come off with an injury, he was having a great game too.
At half time the score was 4-0 and the boys were visibly disappointed. However, they didn’t give up and Joe scored a great goal early in the second half.
Without any subs, our boys began to tire and Bury Grammar scored a further two goals.
All the boys played their hearts out but I would like to give a special mention to Cailun who claimed the man of the match after an assured and confident performance.
