A great effort by all 14 boys tonight and a big thank you to Mr. Crawshaw for organising the event and the parents for transporting and cheering them on.

The main thing tonight was that the boys grabbed the opportunity with both hands and got better and better. 

The two teams won some, drew some and lost some with one team managing to make it through to Monday’s finals evening finishing top of their group. 

It was great to see the year 6 children leading their teams and controlling games but most importantly supporting the future stars through their first experience of this fantastic tournament. 

Some incredible runs and goals by Levi, great strikes by Max, Callum and Alex and amazing saves by both Josh’s in goal. Liam showed some incredible footwork and composure whilst Jake and Rex worked incredible hard and struck the ball when the opportunity arose. Hayden, Joe and Jack played the best I have seen them play in defence and our year 4s Freddie and Oliver did not look out of place at all. The future is bright!
