We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Year 1/2 went to the park this week. We developed lots of skills such as turn taking, sharing and we worked on our fine and gross motor skills. The children’s behaviour was impeccable throughtout the whole trip and they represented Holcombe Brook outstandingly.
