We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Before Easter, Year 6 attended a Crucial Crew workshop at Bolton Barracks. During the afternoon the children met with different professionals who shared information which would help with their transition to secondary school. They learnt about looking after our environment, how to keep themselves safe online and on our streets and some basic first aid. Thank you to all the services who contributed to this worthwhile afternoon.
