Today was the first of five mindfulness sessions with Ash, who is calming Year Six in order for them to stay relaxed leading up to the DREADED SATS! Every Wednesday afternoon, Golden Gate will be in the hall becoming peaceful and serene whilst leaving behind any anxieties about the upcoming tests. Each session, we will be spending 45 minutes with the theme Under The Sea. We will become scuba divers to match our new topic, ” Listen to the Moon” by Michael Morpurgo, which is all about the Lusitania. The Lusitania was a ship that was sunk by a German U- Boat.
We had a wonderful time and we all came out looking forward next week’s session!

You don’t do the same for the parents do you!! ??
Yes! And the staff all had a sneaky mini-session before the Easter holidays 😉 In fact, I am just setting up our “Just Relax” programme for parents. Just need to find a suitable venue, and then I’ll be advertising 🙂 http://www.facebook.com/relaxkidsbury
