You may have seen our very own Mrs. Shepherd – who continues to work incredibly hard for the British Red Cross –  on the BBC news yesterday morning to head the celebration of their 150th birthday as the representative of the volunteers. She was also joined by the CEO Mike Adamson.

Her continued efforts over the years were also recently recognised with the presentation of a special £5 coin. The commemorative coin was presented to Mrs. Shepherd for her dedication over the years, including her efforts during the MEN arena attack and the Grenfell disaster. See more here
