9 year 4/5 children took a break from their lessons to go and take a dip at the castle leisure centre pool. It wasn’t part of a PE swimming course but an actual Bury Schools’ Swimming Gala against 20 other schools!

It was a very well organised event and the children enjoyed being part of a team and representing school. They swam individual races and relay races too. 

It was an absolute pleasure to watch and the children behaved impeccably. Thank you to Mrs. Rothwell and the parents for their support. 

Well done to you all, I was blown away by your talent and perseverance. Keep it up!
