Following a successful bid to the Bolton ICD support group by parent Mrs Mobina Akram we are delighted to take receipt of a defibrillator for school and community use. The machine will be stored in school for the present time until we have raised funds to purchase a cabinet so that it can be placed outside for easier community access. A group of staff from school attended the presentation evening and training session at Dobbie’s Sports and Social Centre on Thursday evening.

The machine will be registered with ‘Heartstart’ linked to North west Ambulance where it will be made available to any member of the local community in need through the 999 emergency service.
