We are very excited about our next major project…Our Sensory Garden! The PTA have worked tirelessly to raise funds and the school council have been liaising with Janet Steer and the rest of the pupils to create a space that will be suitable for all ages. Now the fencing has been erected we will be looking for companies to begin work on this large area: levelling the land, creating pathways, landscaping. Here is a quick sketch of what we can expect but there will be more images and ideas in the coming weeks. The purpose for this post is for it to be shared and for companies and parents to come forward, visit the site and offer quotes or potentially sponsor the works which will include: bug hotels, willow tunnel, sensory pathways, musical instruments, a hide for birdwatching, a stage area perhaps and of course-plants!Thanks again to Janet and our PTA and of course the school council.
