Our school is hosting a school “proms.” For those who don’t know what a “proms” is; it is a musical showcase of all the pupils who play a musical instrument or sing in the choir. This will be taking place on the 16th of May. Lots of preparations are taking place all around the school, a pupil in the school choir says, “I have taken part in this event before and found it really fun, it’s really nerve-racking waiting back stage but I love it!” In year 5 children have been learning to play the glockenspiel with Mrs Geelan. This year the choir’s theme is old London, they will be singing songs such as: Londoner, Lambeth walk and many, many more. It’s going to be so much fun! Many say the song Londoner is their favourite song from choir. Mrs Geelan has been working very had with some choir members for solo parts in the play. Good look everyone! Bye for now. By Olivia
