We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. 3 days away for our lucky year 6 group has just come to an end. From the private Facebook group – which contains lots of photos, videos and lives – it was clear they all had an absolute blast!

A huge thank you to Miss Crooks, Mrs. Byrne and Mr. Crawshaw for giving up their time to ensure the children were safe, worked as a team and conquered some fears along the way.

Also, thank you to the parents for making sure the children had everything they needed and last but not least, thank you so much to all the children for being so well behaved and giving the activities a really good go! I’m sure the 3 days will live long in the memory.
