We were delighted to welcome Richard O’Neill back into school to work with children of keyworkers and we were also able to share a 30 minute question and answer session with our community through Facebook live. 20 children sent in questions via class dojo and Liam from year 6 was the lucky winner of a signed copy of one of Richard’s brilliant books: Ossiri and the Bala Mengro.
The children that were in school had the opportunity to work with Richard and listen to his brand new story, the sequel to the above book – Ossiri and the Bala Mengro Band! Brilliant pieces of art, music and writing were created thanks to the inspirational delivery from a wonderful author and story teller.
It was very much appreciated by the staff and pupils, thank you. We will look forward to revisiting this story as a whole school when we fully open again and we will be using the images and videos below to inspire more brilliant work!
