Last half term, 6 children from Year 6 competed in Bury’s Quicksticks Tournament. After winning three games and drawing one game, we were through to the semis where they played a strong team from St Mary’s Radcliffe. It was a close game which we won 2-1 in the dying seconds. We were in the final against local rivals Greenmount (we drew 1-1 with them in the first game so we knew it would be a nail-biter)

After a tense 6 minutes, we won 2-1 and were Bury Champions and through to the Manchester School Games!

Throughout the games the 6 played with real commitment and showed great skill with great goals from Jackson, Henry and Lewis, awesome  attacking and defending from Chelsie and Arabella and fantastic defending from Lucy!
