Thankfully we had the weather to go with our carnival themed sports days! We were very lucky to welcome Mrs Geelan back for the full week to provide the children with many musical opportunities culminating in an opening ceremony the children should be proud of. 

Throughout the morning and afternoon we had samba drumming, singing and class dances to a range of songs. We were also treated to a fantastic cheerleading performance by Mrs Hughes’ cheerleading troop! The children took part in a range of short and long distance races as well as some fun novelty races too! We even had parents and toddler races, which the children loved to watch!

All pupils were trying to earn themselves stickers but more importantly, points for their houses! Our KS2 winners were Wordsworth and the winners in KS1 were Lowry! Thanks to everyone for your support!
