We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. The year six children made their way around five areas to learn about:mental health, metrolink travel, healthy diet, cyber bullying and what to do if someone is choking.

They loved spending the afternoon travelling to a venue to learn about the above with their classmates. Thank you to Miss Crooks and Mrs. McLeod for supporting the children for the afternoon.
