After reading a book about how to make bird feeders last half term, the children asked if they could make some themselves! Mrs Sutcliffe worked with everyone to make their own bird feeders, using lard, peanut butter and dried worms. The children then decided which branches they wanted to hang them from. When we came back to school this week, all the food had been eaten – there must have been lots of hungry birds!
