We took a team of 23 children to compete against 23 schools in total! The children could take part in a maximum of four events from the 10 track and field activities. When the results came in for the top 5, we knew we were in with a chance as we had won the majority of our heats! “In third place….HOLCOMBE BROOK!” Bronze medals all round! It was also pleasing to hear that out of 69 children in Bury (3 per school) we had two gold medalists for High Jump and Chest Push…Rosie and Samuel respectively!
