PC Schofield and PCSO Martin visited Year 6  as part of our ID topic. They brought in fingerprint equipment and other items to explain to the children all  about the work of the police when a crime has been committed. 

Pupils had their fingerprints taken and then some were given the opportunity to take DNA evidence. Others lifted fingerprints in the classroom using special powder and tape. 

The children are now using their knowledge to produce reports about fingerprints.
