We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. We had 2 new teachers in class this week – the newly appointed year 4/5 eCadets! They delivered an excellent lesson on how to keep safe online and asked lots of thought-provoking questions that the rest of the class responded really well to. Children then worked in small groups to create ‘word clouds’ to promote e-safety. Look out for some of these on display around school.

As can be seen on the photographs below, the eCadets took charge in all aspects of the lesson! Well done!!
