Following on from a friendly defetat last Friday to a very talented St Andrew’s Radcliffe team, the boys set out to Chantlers Primary on Wednesday to play a cup game. Despite having one player missing, the team worked really hard in difficult conditions and still managed to play some of the best football Mr. Crawshaw and I have seen from a HB team!
Chantlers put up a really good fight but struggled to cope with our relentless pessur and we went in at half time 2-0 to the good following goals from Stratton and Arthur. We scored another two straight after half time from Noah and a ‘worldy’ volley from Arthur which nestled in the top corner! Chantlers managed to get two back but Arthur – who was clearly desperate to bag a hat trick – managed to slot in another goal in thr dying seconds!
We now have Cams Lane at home in the second round! Well done boys! Thank you as always to parents and Mr Crawshaw for helping.
