Sponsorship Opportunity Daily Mile Sports Bottles

Our school as always, continues to have a real focus on keeping healthy:mind and body. On Friday, Mr. Bradshaw shared the latest challenges for classes linked to the ‘daily mile’/‘k-a-day’ and Weekly Warrior. Each class received their passport and every time they complete a circuit outdoors, as a class, they move one place around the world map. Stopping at various landmarks on the way and collecting flag stickers!

So far the Weekly Warrior challenges have targeted some year 3s, 4s and 5s to have a go at star jumps, sit down/stand ups and burpees respectively. The results are then sent to a high school sports coordinator and entered into a spreadsheet to ultimately compete against other schools.

With all this in mind, our school council have come up with the brilliant idea of each child having a school sports water bottle which will be transparent and have a red, yellow, blue or green lid depending on their house. We would also include a space for the child’s name, school logo and hopefully a sponsor logo. We will be purchasing 300 bottles at a cost of approximately £400 and would hope they will last a long time, be with the children at various sports events and obviously go home and come to school each day. We have looked at bottles made from other materials and are mindful of an eco approach. It is hoped with reusable bottles we will see a huge reduction of the amount of single use plastic bottles that come to school each day. With the pupils’ names on, we are confident these will last for at least 12 months.
