On Wednesday 19th December Mrs Geelan's Choir went to entertain the people of Bury on 'Bury's World Famous Market'.
They sung and danced for an hour putting smiles on the faces of people passing by. They were a joy to watch and raised over £150 for school.
Thank you to Mrs Geelan for her continued hard work and all the parents...
Another fantastic evening at the School Carol Service at Bury Parish Church in aid of Bury Hospice; it definitely put us in the Christmas Spirit. Our choir performed alongside Unsworth, Christ Church Walshaw, St John with St Mark and the Bury Community Choir.
The choirs all sounded amazing. Massive thanks to Mrs Geelan for her continued hard work.
Thank you to Dr Sibley for organising a Soup Kitchen to raise funds for the Homeless. Thanks also to Jasmin and her Y6 helpers for running it so well. We raised enough money to support a Soup Kitchen for at least 6 weeks. Thank you for your donations.
In Niagara Falls, we have been learning new art techniques . Firstly, we used chalk pastels to blend colours together to produce poppy field pictures. In addition to the poppy pictures, we had a go at using another media, charcoal, which we used to create these phenomenal portraits of WW2 soldiers.
On Friday 28th September, Year 4/5 and Year 3 visited Quarry Bank Mill as part of their topic on Victorians. They were apprentices for the day; attending school, learning about the mill and the dangers, seeing how water powered the mill and playing with toys in the Victorian House. They looked fantastic in costume - thank you parents and carers...
