As we came to the end of our ‘Fizzlebert Stump’ literacy unit, children were asked to plan a ‘Lost Chapter’ from the book featuring their own character.  The class were inspired by the twitter messages left by the author (A. F. Harrold) and illustrator (Sarah Horne) and couldn’t wait to start planning their writing. We used some of Pie Corbett’s ‘Talk for Writing’ techniques such as story mapping and boxing up.
