Following their recent work in class on Danny English’s book ‘The Happiness Tree’, Taj Mahal class visited the woods. As well as all the usual fun of building dens, making a mess in the mud kitchen and getting to explore their surroundings, the children were thoroughly excited to be able to visit the actual Happiness Tree! Not only that, but Danny was on hand to kindly share what inspired him to write the story as well as reading it aloud to the children in his own inimitable way.  A big thank you to Danny and the rest of the staff down at the woods for hosting a wonderful day as always.
