We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. As part of our ‘Somewhere to settle’ topic, Taj Mahal class have been working extremely hard over the last few weeks to design and create their own settlements. The children had to ensure that their settlements included a water supply, a food supply, some shelter and possibly some form of defence.

The children then brought their designs to life using Minecraft!
