We completed an experiment to test for the amount of friction on different surfaces. The surfaces were a plastic table top, a foam gym mat, a towel, some textured wallpaper and the carpet. We were measuring the distance a toy car would travel when pushed across those different surfaces.  We then had to explain why we think the toy car travelled the distance it did on each surface.
