We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Pupils in Golden Gate had a lovely day out today. They used their mapping skills to plan the route from school to the Burrs….

They had two tasks to complete before lunch, linked to erosion/deposition and the local surroundings. They were all desperate for lunch by this point! After lunch we played on the trim trail then had a game of football or rounders before making their way back to school!
