Our Y5/6 Rounders squad did themselves proud at the Bury schools competition last week.  They worked incredibly well as a team and won their pool against Whitefield and Guardian Angels.  They came up against stiff competition in the final match against local rivals, Old Hall, losing 8 v. 6.5.

I can honestly say I’ve never seen such team spirit in a school sports team as I did with these nine children that day – they should be incredibly proud of how they worked together and held their heads up when things got tough!  True Holcombe Brookers!
