Our Y5/6 Rounders squad did themselves proud at the Bury schools competition last week. They worked incredibly well as a team and won their pool against Whitefield and Guardian Angels. They came up against stiff competition in the final match against local rivals, Old Hall, losing 8 v. 6.5.

The year 10 sport leaders from Woodhey High School have been teaching in school this week. They will work with all children from year 2 to year 6 to develop their skills in a range of different sports. This is always a really successful collaboration with our local high school and the older pupils are always excellent role models...
Throughout last term, many of our year 6 pupils, staff and even some parents have taken part in the lunchtime running club. Every time someone attended they received a '2K run raffle ticket'. The draw took place at the end of term and some super prizes were won.
