18th March 2022This week is British Science Week. Today we have dressed as scientists, ready to learn all about what it means to be a scientist. We have worked on our observational skills, our predicting skills, our reasoning skills and building our knowledge of plants and growth. What a fantastic morning toasting brioche, finding out about mini beasts and scavenger hunts, despite the rain we persevered and managed lots of learning and fun, some had to be indoors! Thanks to Mr Bradshaw for helping out with the fire pit.

28th May 2021The pupils in Everest class really enjoyed hearing the first chapter of Charlie Higson’s book Worst. Holiday. Ever. We then wrote some questions to ask Mr Higson and emailed them to him, before listening to the author talk about his book and the anxious character within it, who doesn’t like trying new things.
