As you have heard already, the girls team has finished 2nd in Bury and 2nd in Manchester for 7-a-side tournaments. On Monday night they managed to make it third time lucky with a tournament victory in the 6-a-side Bury competition!

All four teams played some wonderful football but the deciding match was the final one in the group. BGS required just a draw to take home the trophy and Holcombe Brook needed to win after only securing a win and a draw in their first two games!

Thankfully Amelia scored a fabulous five minute hat-trick but throughout the season it has been a tremendous effort from all the girls and they have improved so so much! Congratulations for a well deserved victory! IMG_2894

At the same event was also our boys team that had made it through to the final 16 and after a great result in the first round sadly lost on penalties in the quarter final but it was still amazing to reach the top 8 boys teams in the town.
