Wow! What a fantastic day we have had in Everest. We shared 19 experiments altogether and the children loved it. They spoke fantastically as they presented their experiments and we used some great scientific vocabulary. There were solids, liquids and gases. Then forces with pushes and pulls, plus a vacuum. We had static electricity and chemical reactions. We looked at a PH scale with acid and alkaline solutions. Then there was environmental issues and healthy lungs. Just wow! We talked about fair tests, the importance of repeating tests, making predictions, drawing conclusions, collecting data and showing it in different ways. A huge learning experience all down to the hard work of our children and the amazing support of their parents. A huge thank you.Â
