Pupils have been celebrating after a victorious night at the annual Bury Media Awards ‘The Oscars’. This is a reflection of the outstanding work that goes on, not only  in computing lessons at Holcombe Brook, but in all areas of the curriculum. We benefit from a well resourced media suite with desktop PCs and laptops, as well as a timetabled class set of iPads. Our staff ‘Appy Monday’ weekly training session ensures that all staff are knowledgable on using Apps to impact on learning and pupil Digital Leaders help to teach computing lessons throughout the school.  Look out for a new pupil after-school  ‘Appy Monday’ club coming soon!
