- Spider man 3, with a staggering price of $304,000,000 USD. This three part franchise, made its way straight to the top. As it is the most expensive superhero movie of all time is the also one of the most polarizing, with fans divided over Spider-Man 3’s depiction of iconic villain Venom.
- 4. Titanic, the tragic romance, first came out 1997 and was worth a whopping $305,000,000 USD, With an A-list cast including Leonardo Di-Caprio, Kate Winslet and many more, the movie has made over $2,000,000 in just box sets alone!
- Cleopatra, a well- known story from the Egyptian mythology (also a story from a Shakespeare performance), had a huge bill of $350,000,000 USD. Cleopatra was 1963’s best-selling movie. Most of the money went to the 26,000 costumes that were needed for the production.
- Avengers: Age of Ultron, which had scenes in many countries including: Korea, Bangladesh, South Africa and Italy. One of the many reasons this movie was so expensive was the cause of A-list actors who were demanding more money, they threatened to quit their jobs if they didn’t get a pay-rise. The total cost of the film equalled $365,500,000 USD!
- The most expensive movie to ever be made is Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, with a whopping cost of $378,500,000 USD. Jonny Depp was reportedly paid $55,000,000 to be in this production! It made over $1.04 billion at the box office, so Disney had no reason to complain about Jonny Depp’s hefty fee!
