During the winter months, our wonderful library and ICT suite is transformed into a chess arena!

Children in key stage 2 are invited to compete against each other. A mini league for each year group is created and children can win prizes depending on the number of points they collect.

Chess is a great way to get the mind working and pupils who take part develop their thinking skills which will hopefully help them in class and later in life!
