In Design and Technology, Y4 have made some amazing Egyptian mummy clay models  and  designed  coffins for them.  Here are some photos of our awesome models. 

Wow – don’t you think they’re really nice?  I like how they all have different styles to them.  We did the mummies and coffins because we have been learning about Ancient Egypt, tombs, mummifying – there’s so many exciting things to it!

We also made scrolls of the dead from papyrus, so our pharoahs can take them to the afterlife (I bet you the pharoahs would die for those ancient scrolls 😉 )!
