A huge well done to our year 4 girls team that managed to win bronze medals at a recent tournament against 11 other Bury schools! 

They won one group game (3-0 vs Old Hall) and drew two (0-0 and 2-2 vs Elton and Sunnybank).  In their final group game they were 2-0 down and a draw was needed to progress to the semi finals. Orla managed to score two goals in the dying minutes. 

In the semi final we lost 2-0 to the eventual winners, Greenhill but in our 3rd/4th placed playoff we managed to beat OLOL 3-0. 

The girls showed a great team spirit throughout and it has certainly inspired some to join a team at the weekend!
