We use several key tools around school and in the classroom to help teach and develop core values and skills, along a pupil's Learning Journey at Holcombe Brook. 'Learning Waymarks' shown here are specific items from these tools that are relevant to the content, or activity being reported. We add this information with the hope of strengthening these values and accelerating pupil development, both in the classroom and at home. Well done to both our year 4 boys team and the year 5/6 boys team for representing the school so well and playing all of their matches in the right spirit and with a great deal of enthusiasm.

Despite being up against some very difficult teams, they didn’t stop trying and worked really well as a group. The team in the afternoon drew 2 games and lost 2; the year 4 team managed to finish third following some great victories and came back to school with bronze medals!
