21st September 2020What a fabulous start we have had in Stonehenge. The children have loved exploring their new classroom and making new friends. -

3rd January 2019The children in reception were treated to hot chocolate, a story (Stickman) followed by a practical activity making their own stickman, toasting brioche by the camp fire and lots of fun in our own woodland area, when the CommuniTree Initiative joined us.

3rd January 2019Last term reception class read Naughty Bus, a brilliant adventure story. They then created story maps, made their own buses (indoors and out) and loved recreating pages from the story like the breakfast table scene with real beans!! What a Naughty Bus!

6th November 2017Children in Niagara Falls class enjoyed a creative morning working together to create an Egyptian mural and hieroglyphics.

15th May 2017English lessons in Niagara Falls class have focused on the wonderful picture book 'The Lost Happy Endings' by Carol-Ann Duffy. Children have made predictions, developed inference skills using text and pictures, visualised the settings and looked closely at characters. After reading and acting out play scripts, learning about the features of the writing genre, creating iPad animations with shorts scripts...

4th May 2017After reading The Fizzlebert Stump book in class, year 4/5 were set the challenge of sketching their own Sarah Horne inspired illustrations. Congratulations to our winner who has been awarded with a fabulous limited edition Fizzlebert sketch by Sarah Horne.

14th December 2015Grand Canyon have been designing and making their own festive stockings. They worked independently and needed very little help threading the needle and stitching! They created their own designs and many of them are double-sided. Thank you to my super stitchers, Summer, Eleanor and Chelsie for helping others get started!
