The children in Golden Gate class used Now Press Play to enhance their learning in RE. We were learning all about the Five Pillars Of Islam and thorougly enjoyed their experience.

We had a fabulous, festive afternoon decorating our gingerbread men and then eating them with a hot chocolate and marshmallows. The children have also made fantastic angels after learning about the Christmas story in RE .
Chanukah assembly and year 2 workshop
Lots of interesting information about the Jewish festival of light Chanukah by Simon Caplin in our whole school assembly. Followed by interesting and practical workshops in Year 2 and Year 3.

Rosh Hashanah in Everest
Everest class enjoyed finding out about Jewish New Year - Rosh Hashanah. We looked at how And why it is celebrated and compared it to celebrations in our families. We enjoyed tasting apples dipped in honey for a sweet New Year and joining in a New Year dance.
